SOUS 100th Sketch Blog Hop

TGIF, everyone!  Welcome to Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and the Stuck on U Sketches 100th Sketch Blog Hop.  If you have come here from Lizzy's blog, you are in the right place.  If you've just stumbled upon my post and would like to start from the beginning, you can head on over to the Stuck on U Sketches Blog.

Stuck on U Sketches is celebrating it's 100th sketch today, so we are all creating projects based on this sketch.  You'll see lots of layouts and also some cards, and there will be lots of chances for fun blog candy and gifts along the way.  So, you don't want to miss even one stop.  Then, you can join in by creating your own project based on the sketch.

Here's my project:

And here's the SOUS 100th sketch I based my card on:

I decided to turn the sketch on its side for my card.  I didn't have any photos on my card, so I took the idea of the envelope and used it in the place of the photos.  The envelope and the hearts are from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Valentine Kids Cutting Files set, and the stamp shape is from the Silhouette Online Store.  I cut all of the pieces using my Silhouette Cameo.  I got the fun sentiment from the Pink by Design Rain or Shine Stamp Set.  All of the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Happy Day 6" x 6"  paper pad.

Now, how about a little BLOG CANDY???  One lucky follower of my blog will receive this set of Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels 1 Dies.  Just leave me a comment with your e-mail address, and I'll pick a winner on Friday, February 8, 2013.  Please only US and Canadian addresses.

Your next stop in the hop is Leslie.

Oh, and if you have the ability to cut SVG or DXF files, I have 2 Friday Freebies to share with you today:

Here's the whole lineup just in case you get lost along the way:

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a wonderful weekend!

And, of course, the best part of my card is that the zebra is on an Action Wobble:

Wheeeeee!

I hope you like my little card. Now, how about a little BLOG CANDY?????

Design Team Day!!!

Whew!!!!  I have had a whirlwind of a week getting some more things done for our move.  We fly out 2 weeks from tomorrow!  I can't believe it!  I have had a little time to get some crafting done, and I'm excited to share what all of my wonderful Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Design Team members created for you.  First, here's my simple little card:

I got this cute little apple from the PPPR Apple Picking Cutting Files.  I welded two of the apples together to create a card base. I removed the little seeds on the apple and replaced them with a heart from the PPPR Safari Love Cutting Files.  I added a sentiment from Pink by Design's Plum Perfect Stamp Set and some doodles, and my little shape card was all done.  Easy peasy!

Now, here's what my wonderful DT created.  Be sure to stop by and show them a little bloggy love by leaving a comment for them. :)

Here's another angle:

Hello, everyone!  Welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Valentine Blog Hop!  My uber talented Design Team and I have some fabulous Valentine's Day projects to share with you today that have all been created using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) cutting files and graphics.  Plus, we have some blog candy up for grabs, too, so be sure to stop by each and every blog, become a follower, and leave a comment.  Here's what I created for our hop:

Ever since I created this funny little Heart Guy, I've been just itching to use him on a project.  I got his top hat and bow tie from the PPPR Little Hoot Cutting Files set, and the flowers came from the new PPPR Valentine Kids Cutting Files set.  I filled the background strips with digital papers from the PPPR Love Bug Pattern Pack.  The sentiment is from Pink by Design's Bear Hugs Stamp Set, and I stamped it on a shape from the PPPR Sentiment Spots 1 Cutting Files.  I finished the card off with some ribbon and some doodles.

I also wanted to give you a quick peek at some other Valentine's Day projects I've created using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons files.

Honey Bees, Honeycomb Heart Card, and Layered Tags Cutting Files

Happy Heart (this week's freebie) and Layered Labels 2 Cutting Files

XOXO ~ SOUS Die Cut Challenge Jan. 25 & a FREEBIE!

TGIF, everyone!  It's time for another Stuck on U Sketches Die Cut Challenge!  YAY!  The challenge this time is to create a wreath around a photo using a die cut.  I adapted this challenge to fit a card, and I created a wreath around the mat on the label I used to create my shaped card.  Here's my project:

The card base for this card came from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Layered Labels 2 Cutting Files. I just mirrored one of the shapes and welded the two pieces together to create a card.  The fun little flying heart is from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Happy Heart Cutting Files (this week's Friday Freebie).  I also got the little hearts I created my wreath with from this file...I just used the "release compound path" function in Silhouette Studio to get rid of the facial features on the little heart.  Then, I made several smaller copies of the heart and adhered them around the oval on the label.  I added a stamp from Pink by Design's Love Always Stamp Set and some doodle marks, and my little card was all done.

If you have the ability to cut SVG or DXF files, you can pick up this sweet little free flying heart HERE (free through 1-31).

Now, it's your turn!  Head on over to Stuck on U Sketches to see what the other Design Team members created.  Then, link up your own project featuring a "wreath" made out of die cut shapes.  You have 2 weeks to enter, and we can't wait to see what you link up!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll come by tomorrow for the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Valentine Blog Hop.  We'll have lots of PPPR Valentine's Day inspiration for you, and we'll  also have some fun blog candy available.  We hope to see you there!

Cameo Creations ~ Love Ya Challenge

Yay!!!  It's time for another Cameo Creations Challenge, where we show off what we can do with our Silhouette machines.  The challenge this week is to create a project with a "Love Ya" theme.  Here's what I came up with:

I got this sweet little girl from the brand new Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Valentine Kids Cutting Files.  The awesome thing about these kids is that you can switch around their head and the items they hold, so you can have all sorts of different looks.  I put a different head on this little girl file because I like the curly hair.  :)  The card base is from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Sentiment Spots 2 Cutting Files.  The patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye Quilting Bee 6" x 6" paper pack, and the ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbons January Ribbon Club Assortment.  I added some ink and some doodles, and my little card was all done.

I also added an oval and some ribbon to the inside to finish off the card.

Now, it's your turn!  Head on over to Cameo Creations to see what the other fabulous Design Team members created, then link up your own Silhouette-created Love Ya project.  We can't wait to see what you create!  You have 2 weeks to link up, and you could win this fabulous prize:

$10 to Spend at Lettering Delights

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I'll be back tomorrow with another project for you!

What's New Wednesday #24

YAY!!! I'm so excited to show you what's new in the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Store this week.  So, without further ado...here it goes:

First, I created these fun Valentine Kids.

I love these files because you can switch around the heads and the items the kids are holding to create different looking kids.  Here's an example of what I mean:

Plus, the Valentine items are totally removable, so you can replace the girl's heart, for example, with a gift, and use her on a birthday card.  So versatile!

I also have these sweet little Safari Love animals:

These little sweeties can also be used for just about anything because the Valentine items are totally removable.

I don't have them done quite yet, but I'll have Digital Clip Art for these sets available in my store later this week.

Oh, and be sure to mark your calendar for our January Blog Hop this Saturday.  We'll have lots of PPPR Valentine's Day inspiration for you, as well as some fun blog candy!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I'll be back tomorrow to share a sweet project with you.

Strawberry Gift Box & Friday Freebie

TGIF, everyone!  It's time for another Non-Card Friday at Pink by Design.  I created a cute little gift box with the same brown, pink, and white theme as our challenge for this week.  Here it is:

This adorable little strawberry gift box came from the Silhouette Online Store, and the sweet sentiment is from Pink by Design's Love Always Stamp Set.  I tied it all together with some 3 Girl JAM Sterling Crinkle Ribbon. Here are some other views of the gift box:

I also wanted to share that there's a new Friday Freebie in the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Store today.  This will be available for one week, then it will be moved to the 99 Cent section of the store.

Also, don't forget that we have a BROWN, PINK, and WHITE Challenge going on over at Pink by Design.  You have until Saturday night to link up for a chance to win a $10 Gift Certificate to Pink by Design.  We hope you will...we can't wait to see what you create!
