Foxy Lip Balm Holder

Hello Pretty Friends!

It's Kathy, from Kathy and Kids, and today I have a cute lip balm holder using the "Lip Balm Fox" cutting file to share with you.

It seems like these eos lip balms are quite popular and Lisa has made a cute fox holder.  These are a great way to gift them.

Isn't it cute?!  And they are super easy to assemble too!  I think these are going to be a fun way for the Easter Bunny to leave these in my daughter's baskets :)

Have a great week and Thanks for stopping by!

Easter Morning

Leah Schaeffer with you today on yet another Monday! And just before Easter so I definitely wanted to do something for the holiday. This is the first time I cut this Easter bunny and I am super excited for how it turned out! I think this bunny is just great and had originally thought about adding each of the great bunnies but then had the idea to do this one giant size and be the center of focus.
Since I wanted to use each of these photos from last years Easter morning and there wasn't room to trim these photos down from the original 4x6, I knew there wasn't a ton of room to scrap on the other side. So going big filled the space nicely and then banners add some interest and color on top to then balance the colors in the eggs. Another option would have been to do a colorful title (like the one in the set) instead of the banners. In case anyone has the notion to try a page similar.

As much as fun as this is, I still wanted to add some small detail or embellishment so when it doubt, glitter, baby! This added just the right something to finish off the project! See how happy Mr. Easter Bunny is?

   This file is SO fun!

We appreciate you coming by today! See you tomorrow with another wonderful project!

A layout 20 years in the making!

Hi, Ruth here and I'm sharing a layout with a picture from when I got my bachelor's degree back in 1995. My wonderful classmates posted this picture to Facebook and I felt like scrapping the picture now that it's coming up on 20 years since I graduated (can I just say that I can't believe it's been that long!!!)

Papers are from Man, Oh Man Pattern Pack 1, the clouds are from Kite & Clouds Cutting Files, and the arrows are from Borders 4 Cutting Files.
Thanks so much for visiting!
Happy crafting!
Ruth

Spring/Summer 2015 Design Team Announcement

Happy Hump DAAAAAAY, everyone! I have our new Design Team member to share with you today. Honestly, I wish I could have chosen each person who applied...they are all so talented. But, I only had two open spots on the team, so I had to make a tough decision.

First, I'm so sad to say that two of my wonderful friends will be stepping down from the DT at the end of March. These ladies are so amazing, and we are so sad to see them go. But, we'll see them around in crafty bloggy land, I'm sure. Sadly, we say goodbye to Melisa Alzammar ~ Melisa's Crafty Creations (who has been with us from the very beginning) and Tina Berlingeri ~ Tina Time. :(

Okay, now, we have some new members of the team. Here they are. Be sure to visit their blogs to say hi and check out their awesome goodies.

Of course, we have some amazing and talented DT members returning to our team for this term. Here they are, in case you'd like to stop by and check out their blogs, too!

Happy Birthday!

Good Morning!

Before I show you my project today, I just wanted to let you know that today is my last project for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  I decided to step down for a bit since I have so much going on in my personal life right now.  We are currently in the process of trying to buy a house (You know how chaotic that can be) and I also started working part time.  I just wanted to say Thank you to Lisa for having me on her team.  She is an amazing designer and so much fun to work with.  I really have enjoyed working with her and her files.  Once things settle down for me I will start crafting again.

Now on to my project.  :)

For the card base I used the Tri-Fold Shutter Card Cutting Files.  The Ostrich is from the Safari Love 2 Cutting Files.  The mouse is from the Birthday Critters Cutting Files.  The present & hat are from the Party Items Cutting Files

This mouse is just too darn cute.

Here is a picture of the card folded up.

Thanks for stopping by!

Have a great day!

Life is Sweet layout

Hi fellow scrappers..
It's Nanné here today to share a cute little layout I created using some of the new Baking Fun cutting file..
Here is what I created:

I love to bake so I'm hoping I can get one of my kids to snap a photo of my one day while I'm baking, so I can add it to this layout :)

How about a few close ups:
I decided to use the carton of eggs from the Egg-cellent cutting file, plus the bowl, which is in the Baking Fun cutting file..

Absolutely love this little flour baggy, plus the rolling pin.. Both can be found in the Baking fun cutting file.

all of these cute apples are in the Apple Picking cutting file.. The marquee I used for the background is in the Layered Labels 1 cutting file.

these wooden spoons are in the baking fun cutting file..I also used two of the note book sheets for the background and those are in the Note book pages cutting file.

and there ya have my layout that I created for today's reveal..
Thank you for stopping by today and taking a look..
Till next time..
Have a scrap-tastic week
Hugs
Nanné

Flower Birthday Card

Hello there, Nicole here today and I have a birthday card to share with you. Our family has a lot of birthdays between friends and family during the spring and this is just one out of a handful or more that I am going to need to make :-)

I made this one for a good family friend who turned 18 so I wanted a fun and bright card.  I used Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Funky Flowers" cutting files and used 2 of the 3 flowers included for my card.  I picked out bright colored cardstock and added a couple of enamel dots as well as some twine.

Well, thanks for stopping by today.  Don't forget to pick up this week's cute FREEBIE - perfect for those Easter cards/projects.
