Merry & Bright

Merry & Bright
Hi friends, Leah Schaeffer with you all today and I'm just not ready to let the holidays go! Well, it's really more of a winter layout. I could have gone with a title that wasn't something more holiday except that I did want to use this picture of my littles on Christmas morning. So, it went together. It had been some time since I got to put so much into a layout, the design, pulling the layers apart to get ready to cut and to put together. I think it took probably 5 different days to get this thing made!
Can I say how amazing paper is? All you need is paper! Seriously. Ok, and glue. But this entire page is done with paper. The only embellishing I did was adding details to the die cuts with pen. Shading, texture, etc and inking all the cuts. Just gives a little something but other then that, no other embellishments.
Ready for the file list? There's a few today!
Skating Bear Couple
Winter Critters
Forest Critters
Winter Dog
Winter Cat
Winter Cardinal
Snowy Scene
Hope you enjoyed my creation today, so appreciative for you checking it out!

Follow Your Rainbow

Happy Wednesday Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons fans!  It's Michelle from Purple Monkey Moments, and I am here to share a project that I created with an amazing PPPR file

Lisa released THIS cute rainbow a few weeks ago.  I just loved it!  I decided to make a shape card with it:

First I created a shadow of the rainbow, then made a rectangle and welded the two together.  I decided to cut the rainbow in pretty traditional rainbow colours.  I think it's SO cute!!

You can see all of the cute SVG files from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons in the SHOP and be sure to check out all the details of my card over on my blog.

A la prochaine,

Tools of the Trade layout

Hi fellow scrappers..
It's Nanné here to share a fun layout I created of my son Aaron who works for his dad as an Auto Mechanic :)

Here's what I created:
I absolutely adore this tool set :)

How about some close ups and details about the layout:
the oil containers are potion bottles that added the word OIL to :)

My son being a goof ball as always..
(Takes after his mother LOL)

Had to add a car to layout..
I decided to make it a red one since the garage owns a little red car

My cluster of tools..LOL

I decided to add the clipboard, red screwdriver and flashlight to my layout cause its what they use the garage at a daily basis.. All of them keep a little screwdriver in their shirt pockets along with a little flashlight, plus carry a clipboard around with the work order on it which they fill through out the day :)

Cutting files used to create my layout:

and theirs my cute little layout of my son :)
Thanks for stopping by today and checking out my layout
Till next time
hugs

Roller Skate Layout

Happy Monday, Nicole here today and I have a scrapbook layout to share with you.  I was inspired by my design teammate "Nanne" to use print and cut on some of my layout to help it go together faster and to be able to add more layers to it.  This is what I came up with -

My photograph is of my husband and I at the local roller skating rink so I tried to pull in as many elements as I could that reminded me of things I would see or do at the roller skating rink.  Here are some closeups -

Most of my cuts are print and cut except for the star which I cut out with colored cardstock.  I did do the layers for the tickets but used the print and cut feature to do them.  Here are the PPPR files I used to create my layout -

"Vintage Arcade Game" cutting files
"80s Child" cutting files (roller skate)
"Fair Fun" cutting files (tickets)
"Fair Food" cutting files (snocone and cotton candy)
"Movie Popcorn" cutting files
"Best Buddies" cutting files (star)
"Layered Label 3" cutting files (photo mat)

Thanks for stopping by today!!

Life is Pretty Wonderful

When you really stop and look around, life is pretty wonderful. Sometimes we get caught up in the daily chaos or the daily grind and are left feeling deflated, weak or even downright sad.

I know a very smart dog who has some very sound advice if this is you right now.

"Keep looking up...that's the secret of life..." - Snoopy

I've been a bit down lately, so I figured I'd take some of my own advice.

I created this card to share with you, and it's bright and cheery, it also features some awesome PPPR files. You'll find A2 Card Bases 3 Cutting Files and Monarch Butterfly Cutting Files on this card.

I hope you have a great rest of the week. Check back tomorrow for some new files and a freebie! Don't forget that we have an awesome Monthly Challenge going on, and that we are always in need of Guest Designers! You can find the info on the Monthly Challenge by clicking HERE. If you'd like to be a Guest Designer, you can send your info to:  guestdesigner@prettypapergraphics.com

Hi, and Happy Monday!
Gloria here from Gloria's Goofy Craft Spot. I hope everyone is doing well.

For my project I used the PPPR Mr. Fix-It Gift Card Holder Cutting Files which is perfect for those Home Depot and Lowes gift cards. After I cut out the tool box I used Cuttlebug Diamond Plate embossing folder on the bottom half only and ran some Tim Holtz Festive Berries distress ink over it. The sentiment is from PBD Just 4 Men stamp set.
